Job description

Responsibilities:

Programs Management

Supports the planning, implementation, and continuous advancement of JWB's signature initiatives, including Operation Summer Camp, JWB Passport, Gesher, JREP, Military Lay Leader support, and other signature programs.
Coordinates program timelines, deliverables, participant communications, data collection, and reporting to ensure successful program execution.
Monitors program outcomes and assist in evaluating effectiveness through participant feedback and data analysis.
Identifies opportunities to strengthen existing programs and support the development of new initiatives that advance JWB's mission.

Military ‘Lay Leader’ Support and Engagement

Supports the recruitment, onboarding, certification, training, and ongoing engagement & support of JWB Lay Leaders (Jewish military personnel who volunteer to assist Jewish service members with their Jewish life needs).
Fosters meaningful relationships with Military Lay Leaders, serving as a resource and helping ensure they have the tools and support needed to successfully serve Jewish military communities.
Assists in developing educational resources, communications, and engagement opportunities that strengthen the Lay Leader network.

Communications and Storytelling

Assists in developing and implementing communication strategies that highlight the impact of JWB's programs and services.
Creates content for newsletters, social media, the JWB website, presentations, and other communications that effectively tell JWB's story to donors, partners, military families, JCCs, and other stakeholders.
Collects and organizes stories, testimonials, photographs, and program outcomes that demonstrate program impact.
Collaborates with JCC Association's Marketing and Communications team on shared initiatives and organizational priorities.

Partnership Development and Outreach

Supports efforts to strengthen relationships with JCCs, military installations, chaplains, Lay Leaders, community organizations, and other partners.
Assists with expanding awareness and participation in JWB programs throughout the JCC Movement.
Represents JWB professionally in meetings, conferences, trainings, and other events as appropriate.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience preferred.
Three to five years of experience in nonprofit program management, Jewish communal service, project management, communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience developing communications and marketing content across multiple platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using databases and CRM systems.
Familiarity with the North American Jewish community and an appreciation for JWB's mission. Experience working with military communities is a plus.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and external partners.
Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
