NURSING EDUCATION
NURSE INSTRUCTOR – ED Educator (NYSNA)
Full Time / 7am – 5:30pm / some weekends
Responsibilities
Nursing Education; plans, develops, directs and evaluates educational programs for Dept of Nursing. Responsibilities are achieved through orientation, staff development activities and continuing education based on quality improvement reports and needs assessments, skills training and research and collaboration with other hospital departments.
Qualifications
Requirements:
3-5 years ED experience
MSN in Nursing Education or a Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education
ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certification
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
ACLS / BCLS Instructor
Teaching experience
Critical care experience
