Job description
Design scalable, secure, and resilient application architectures for the platform and related technology solutions.
Define end-to-end solution architectures spanning application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure domains.
Translate business requirements into enterprise-scale technical solutions that align with strategic technology objectives.
Create and present reference architectures, solution designs, integration strategies, and technology roadmaps to senior stakeholders.
Lead architecture discovery sessions with business and technology teams to understand challenges and define optimal solutions.
Design and govern API-first and event-driven integration patterns connecting the hub with internal and external enterprise systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to establish development standards, architectural best practices, reusable frameworks, and design patterns.
Evaluate existing platforms and drive modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern engineering practices.
Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, performance, resiliency, observability, and regulatory compliance.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Data, and Product teams to ensure alignment with firm-wide standards.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
Guide engineering teams through implementation approaches and address complex technical challenges.
Stay current with emerging technologies, application architecture trends, integration patterns, and financial services industry developments.
Nice to Have:
Relevant architecture and cloud certifications.
Experience architecting enterprise workflow and case management solutions.
Experience with API Management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, or MuleSoft.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience working with Assurance, Legal, Compliance, Audit, or Regulatory functions.
Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
