Job description
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Event Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier investment management clients in New York, NY. This a hybrid role with 4 days per week in office.
Responsibilities:
Manage, support, and deliver a variety of mid- to high-complexity events throughout AMRS-from pre-event amplification through post-event follow-up.
Coordinate event workstreams including content development, creative/experiential activations, project management, registration, communications, venue management, and budget oversight
Partner with business collaborators to develop strategic Event Briefs rooted in commercial priorities and informed audience insights.
Drive end-to-end event execution to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, brand standards, and budget requirements.
Review the performance of events and coordinate Event Debriefs to measure the event's effect on brand and reputational achievements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal partners such as Multimedia, Global Creative, Content, Digital for Events, and Facilities.
Required Skills:
Strong project and event management capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams.
Strategic problem solver with the ability to connect business priorities to experience-led event design.
Skilled collaborator who can lead and influence cross-functional teams across regions and time zones.

Creative problem solver with high energy, initiative, and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and adapt quickly to change
3+ years of experience in Event Marketing, Brand, Experiential Activations, or related fields.
Experience managing or supporting complex events and working with senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event technology platforms such as Cvent.
Willingness to travel for in-person event delivery (approximately 50%).
Experience within financial services or similarly complex global organizations.
