What will I do in this position if hired?
In this position, you will provide advice and recommendations regarding strategic communications to leadership and staff for Mission Support activities. Typical assignments include:
Organizing and leading division projects, planning, budget, and execution, including maintaining tracking system for all division projects and deadlines.
Supporting and implementing strategic communications plans for budget and resource support.
Interpreting broad policy and program directives and providing products and objectively based information to managers for making decisions on the administrative aspects of agency and divisional operations and processes.
Coordinating performance management and awards programs.

Qualifications
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Leading the development of new or improved administrative practices, methods, or techniques to accomplish or improve the effectiveness of customer support operations;
Analyzing communication and performance data to enhance relationships with stakeholders, with an emphasis on customer
experience;
Analyzing and identifying trends in functional program planning and funding management to inform future year work and efficiencies;
Presenting recommendations regarding policies and/or organizational improvements to senior leadership;
Coordinating with work units on customer requirements and provide foundational sound process innovations and best practices to address them.
