$120,000–$175,000 DOE
Overview
A new Article 32 outpatient substance use program is seeking an experienced Clinical Director (LCSW) to build and lead the clinical program from the ground up.
This is an opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is excited to build, create, and grow — developing the clinical infrastructure, building the team, and establishing the systems needed for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities

Build and develop the clinical program, workflows, policies, and procedures.

Recruit, hire, supervise, and develop the clinical team.

Review charts and oversee clinical documentation, treatment planning, and quality of care.

Ensure compliance with Article 32 requirements, ASAM criteria, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and payer requirements.

Establish quality assurance, utilization review, and audit processes.

Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and serve as the escalation point for complex cases.

Partner with leadership on staffing, program growth, and long-term development.

Build scalable clinical processes and continuously improve systems as the program grows.
Qualifications
-
Active New York State LCSW required.

3–5+ years of clinical leadership experience, ideally within substance use treatment.

Strong experience with chart review, documentation, compliance, and clinical supervision.

Experience hiring and managing clinicians.

Knowledge of Article 32 regulations and ASAM criteria strongly preferred.

Experience building or growing a clinical program highly preferred.

Hands-on, organized, proactive, and comfortable building structure from the ground up.

Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial, builder mentality.
