Job description
STAND 8 is seeking an experienced Workday Techno-Functional Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing administration of the Workday platform. This role combines strong functional knowledge of Workday business processes with hands-on technical expertise in integrations, reporting, security, and data management. The consultant will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, resolve production issues, and improve Workday capabilities within a global media and entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday modules based on business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Configure business processes, condition rules, validations, calculated fields, notifications, and approval workflows.
Design, develop, test, and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, REST APIs, and SOAP web services.
Develop and maintain Prism, custom reports, advanced reports, matrix reports, composite reports, dashboards, and discovery boards.
Support inbound and outbound integrations with payroll providers, benefits vendors, financial systems, identity platforms, and other third-party applications.
Perform data loads, conversions, mass updates, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
Configure and maintain role-based and user-based security, domain policies, business-process security policies, and security groups.
Support Workday releases by reviewing new features, performing impact assessments, coordinating regression testing, and recommending feature adoption.
Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
Prepare functional and technical design documents, test scripts, configuration workbooks, and support documentation.
Coordinate unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
Monitor integrations and scheduled processes, resolve failures, and maintain operational stability.
Ensure solutions comply with data privacy, security, audit, and change-management requirements.
Provide training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing guidance to business users and support teams.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of Workday implementation, configuration, integration, or production-support experience.
Strong techno-functional experience with one or more Workday areas, such as:

Experience with data conversion, validation, reconciliation, and high-volume data loads.
Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, REST, SOAP, SFTP, and integration troubleshooting.
Experience supporting Workday releases and end-to-end testing activities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
