Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities
1. Manage multiple concurrent new store build-out and renovation projects from kickoff to handover.
2. Source, interview, and evaluate general contractors and subcontractors for each project.
3. Review and validate project quotes, budgets, and cost estimates.
4. Develop, monitor, and enforce construction schedules; manage critical path and lead time.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and brand-standard compliance.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact between external design partners, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
7. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks across schedule, cost, and quality.
8. Coordinate store handover with retail operations team, including punch list and closeout documentation.
Maintain project documentation, budgets, and timelines in internal systems

Qualifications
1. 6+ years of construction project management experience, ideally with a general contractor or specialty subcontractor.
2. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
3. Strong track record managing commercial build-out and/or renovation projects (retail experience strongly preferred).
4. Deep knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, permitting, and inspection requirements.
5. Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
6. Demonstrated success evaluating contractor bids, negotiating costs, and managing project budgets.
7. Excellent vendor management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
9. Willingness to travel up to 30-40% within the US.
10. Mandarin Chinese proficiency required (coordinate with global HQ team).
11. Authorized to work in the United States.
