Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Hebrew Teacher to inspire and nurture a love for the Hebrew language and culture among young learners. Duties
Design and implement dynamic Hebrew language curricula tailored to different age groups and learning levels
Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, vocabulary building, and conversational skills in Hebrew
Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and cultural appreciation
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote positive behavior
Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, milestones, and areas for development
Integrate child development instruction strategies to support early intervention and holistic growth
Assess student progress through standardized testing, informal evaluations, and ongoing observations to tailor instruction accordingly
Requirements
Proven experience teaching Hebrew or related language instruction to children or young learners
Strong background in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or daycare experience
Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
Familiarity with special education needs, behavior management, and childhood development principles
Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if necessary
Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety
Experience working with children in diverse settings such as private schools or early intervention programs is advantageous
Ability to incorporate physical education activities and literacy strategies into daily lessons
