Job description

An opportunity is available for an Enterprise Architect to support Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology (ERFT), Employee Experience Technology (EET), and other cross-line-of-business domains. The primary responsibilities will be to develop, institute, socialize, and govern architecture strategies, blueprints, and related frameworks. This role will also involve architecting and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements for a given portfolio and supporting the creation of high-level designs when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps to show system evolution from current to target state.
Participate in architecture consulting to enable design decisions and lead design sessions where appropriate.
Act as a control function to ensure designs adhere to blueprints, architectural principles, and enterprise standards.
Support the compliance of designs with all relevant local laws and regulations.
Identify risks to resolve issues and conflicting priorities, influencing a positive and effective outcome.
Leverage technical expertise to support vendor selection, including recommendations for build vs. buy decisions.
Support the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate designs.
Contribute to the creation and evolution of architectural patterns, principles, and guidelines.
Support the execution of the architecture governance board.
Provide inputs to annual financial planning and other related activities.
Required Qualifications

Education: BSc-level degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.

Experience: Experience with enterprise-level technology strategy in an architecture organization.

Technical Skills:
Application development knowledge and experience (Enterprise Applications, distributed services, design, analysis).
Certification or extensive experience in architectural methodologies and standards (e.g., UML, BPMN).
Knowledge of architecture, quality, and productivity methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Agile).
Familiarity with modern application development and deployment (Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery).
Broad-based IT knowledge (hardware, software, middleware, databases, cloud).
Deep knowledge of Financial Services.
