Drafting Manager / Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Drafting Manager / Team Lead with a strong architectural drafting background to lead and oversee our drafting team, currently consisting of four team members.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with architectural drawings and shop drawings, along with the technical knowledge and leadership skills necessary to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and support the drafting team
* Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with architectural plans and project requirements
* Review and approve shop drawings prior to release
* Oversee material takeoffs and ensure accuracy
* Improve drafting workflows, efficiency, and team productivity
* Troubleshoot technical and project-related issues
* Coordinate priorities and ensure drafting deadlines are met

Qualifications

* Architectural drafting experience required
* Strong understanding of architectural plans, details, and specifications
* Experience preparing and/or reviewing shop drawings
* Experience with material takeoffs
* Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
