Maintenance Technician

What You’ll Do

Working as part of our maintenance team, you’ll help keep our building and systems running safely and efficiently by:

Performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Maintaining communication systems, domestic water and waste systems, medical gas and vacuum systems, lighting, electrical systems, and other facility equipment.
Performing carpentry projects and general building repairs as needed.
Operating and monitoring components of the facility’s utility systems.
Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to help ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Working closely with clinical teams and other departments to address maintenance needs and provide excellent service.
Assisting with landscaping, grounds maintenance, and other indoor and outdoor duties as assigned.
Following all safety procedures, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
Performing other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
Trade or vocational school graduate preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
5+ years of experience in various maintenance trades preferred.
Previous maintenance or environmental services experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work cooperatively with clinical teams, coworkers, residents, and visitors.
