Job description
What you'll do
As a Senior Project Manager in our PS Organization, you will drive impact across three core areas: Delivery Excellence, Leadership & Mentorship, and Practice Enablement.
1. Project & Client Delivery Excellence
Drive Complex Engagements: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, concurrent, enterprise-level customer projects from kickoff to sign-off within fast-paced environments.
Scope & Milestone Management: Prepare enterprise customers for deployment, establish clear success criteria, track deliverables, set targets, manage resources, and ensure project execution adheres to deadlines and budgets.
Risk & Issue Governance: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and technical dependencies.
Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the single point of contact and escalation owner for customer executives, cross-functional internal teams (Engineering, Customer Support, Sales, Technical Account Managers), and third-party partners.
Quality & Performance: Execute quality control throughout project lifecycles to ensure deliverables meet or exceed Rubrik's standards and customer business objectives.
2. PMO Governance & Process Optimization
PMO Governance: Partner with PS leadership to help build, refine, and maintain the PMO governance framework, including standard operating procedures, project methodologies, and key performance indicators.
Continuous Improvement: Audit project workflows and delivery tools to identify bottlenecks, driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, margins, and customer satisfaction.
Resource & Capacity Planning: Assist in establishing best practices for resource allocation, utilization tracking, and project health reporting across the PS portfolio.
3. Leadership & Mentorship
Coach & Mentor: Serve as a mentor to associate and mid-level PMs, providing guidance on client management, conflict resolution, scope control, and career growth.
Thought Leadership: Share best practices, templates, and lessons learned across the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
