Job description

This position is focused on the installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of complex test equipment and supporting infrastructure. The technician will work across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and coolant systems while partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to diagnose issues, complete repairs, and ensure reliable equipment performance. Success in this role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate safely in both laboratory and manufacturing settings.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience
2-year technical degree or 4 years of equivalent hands-on technical experience
Experience supporting equipment in laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and coolant system troubleshooting
Proficiency using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and common hand tools
Ability to read wiring schematics, technical procedures, and mechanical drawings
Experience diagnosing motors, actuators, motion control systems, and related components
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently or with remote technical guidance
Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada as required
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing at least 25 pounds
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Exposure to Linux-based systems
Basic programming or scripting experience
