Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health

Job Responsibilities:

Conducts complete history and physical examinations/health assessments of patients and families with real or potential, acute, and/or chronic health problems in the outpatient setting.
Provides referrals to other health professionals and community agencies, as needed.
Initiates selected therapeutic and diagnostic procedures (including non-stress testing and biophysical profiles), consultation, and laboratory examinations, as needed.
Provides maximum continuity of care for patients and families transitioning throughout the phases of antepartal, labor, delivery, post-partal, family planning-intercontraceptional care periods.
Responsible for the management of patient throughout the maternity cycle.
Follows progress of pregnancy in the office and connect with patients in labor and delivery to ensure the patients have followup and pediatric visits.
Examines patients.
Performs related duties as required.

Education/Experience Required:

Master’s degree - Accredited School
NYS NPWH Active license
Board Certification required
Clinical OBGYN experience, hospital experience preferred
DEA License
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, required.

Opioid Certification
