IT Assistant

The ideal candidate should be very tech-savvy, thoughtful, extremely nice, and down-to-earth. We are looking for someone who is helpful and approachable.

Responsibilities:

This is a combo role consisting of two main areas:

Part A: IT Technical Support

• Help with IT and technical support needs from any department.
• Handle a variety of issues, from simple fixes such as changing a battery to larger technical issues.
• Set up new users, new printers, and other related equipment.
• Be patient and respectful when helping employees, and make sure employees never feel stupid or uncomfortable for not knowing what the issue is or how to explain it.

Part B: Software & Developer Support

• Monitor software for viruses.
• Communicate with the company’s offshore developers.
• Understand what the developers are saying when they make adjustments or enhancements.
• Understand the changes and be able to explain them clearly to other employees.
• Help employees understand and implement the changes.
