Position Summary
We are seeking a male Assistant Teacher to support our lead teacher in a boys' yeshiva high school setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily instruction, classroom management, and student support during afternoon hours.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 4:15 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with delivering daily lessons and classroom activities
- Support classroom management and student behavior
- Help supervise students during transitions, breaks, and dismissal
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as needed
- Maintain a respectful, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications
- Male candidate required
- Experience working with high school–age boys preferred
- Familiarity with yeshiva/Torah environment and religious studies a plus
- Patient, reliable, and strong classroom presence
- Good communication and teamwork skills
