Job description
About the Role
Coterie is a modern baby care brand for discerning parents. We design high-performance diapering solutions for some of the biggest parenting challenges. Our products are built to outperform conventional options, and now, as part of Mammoth Brands, Coterie is positioned to accelerate growth and continue raising the standard in baby care.
We're looking for a Logistics Analyst to support and optimize Coterie's inbound and outbound freight network. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of our transportation operations across international ocean, drayage, rail, truckload, LTL, and final-mile freight (excluding parcel). You'll partner closely with our logistics providers, manufacturers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure product moves efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively from origin through distribution.
In this role, you'll monitor transportation performance, analyze cost and service trends, resolve operational issues, and identify opportunities to improve network efficiency, carrier performance, and landed costs. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Product, Finance, Technology, Customer Experience, and Retail to support new initiatives and enable scalable growth.
The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. You have experience managing transportation operations across international and domestic freight, are confident working with large datasets and logistics partners, and enjoy solving complex operational problems. This role reports to the Associate Director of Operations & Logistics.
The Work You’ll Do
Own day-to-day execution of inbound and outbound freight operations across international ocean and domestic transportation, ensuring shipments move on time and exceptions are resolved quickly.
Coordinate transportation from supplier through warehouse delivery, including freight bookings, shipment tracking, documentation, and pickup and delivery appointment scheduling.
Partner with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and 3PL warehouse partners to ensure efficient execution and high service levels.
Coordinate inbound execution with our 3PL, including delivery scheduling, receiving priorities, new SKU launches, and inventory-related exceptions.
Monitor shipment milestones, proactively identify delays or risks, and communicate timely updates to internal stakeholders.
Maintain transportation dashboards and develop weekly and monthly reporting on freight spend, service performance, transit times, and key operational KPIs.
Analyze freight costs, carrier performance, network trends, and operational data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and service enhancements.
Audit freight invoices, shipping documentation, and customs records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely issue resolution.
Support carrier management, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), performance scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Experience, Product, and Retail teams to support new product launches, inventory planning, and operational initiatives.
Who You Are
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Analytical and data-driven, using quantitative insights to solve operational problems and improve performance.
Proactive and resourceful, taking ownership of issues and driving them through resolution.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly.
A strong communicator who builds effective relationships across internal teams and external logistics partners.
Curious and continuously looking for ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and strengthen execution.
Willing to roll up your sleeve, whether it's analyzing freight data, resolving shipment exceptions, or coordinating an urgent delivery.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
Experience coordinating domestic and/or international freight transportation.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
Experience working with transportation, ERP, WMS, or supply chain systems.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
