Staff Augmentation Technician

You will be providing Level I IT Support and Break/Fix resolution as well as installation of new equipment and services. This is an on-site role with coverage in Western Nassau County, NY.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in an IT related curriculum or related field experience
Proven Experience as a? Support Engineer? or relevant position
Ability to communicate effectively
Able to plan and execute projects efficiently, independently, and effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to take instruction.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems.
Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles.
Must be detail-oriented and able to keep impeccable documentation

Requirements
Laptop troubleshooting – significant knowledge of laptop hardware, as well as the ability to repair the device from top to bottom.
Desktop support – Latest Windows OS, ChromeOS, Misc. software, Microsoft Office 365, printing, troubleshooting skills especially Print Server communication, as well as significant hardware troubleshooting skills.
Server support – Legacy and latest Windows Server OS, Active Directory, group policy, printing, NTFS and share permissions, troubleshooting skills.
Active Directory – Users and Devices
Google Workspace Administration
Apple MDM (DEP, VPP)
Security is the main focus, making sure devices are up to date with patches, AV definitions, devices authorization, etc...
Ability to interface with vendors through email or voice call to schedule RMA for devices.
Print repair/troubleshooting – ability to troubleshoot and repair various printer models/makes
