What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence hall exteriors, parking areas, walkways, and surrounding perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate campus contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and maintain professional communication with campus personnel and local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
