Job description

Who You Are

As our ideal candidate, you understand the power and purpose of our culture of care, and embody our core values of Empathy, Inclusion, Integrity, Experimentation, Respect, and Wellbeing. You enjoy working with others, are results-driven, and are looking for a variety of opportunities to develop personally and professionally.

The Role

The role combines strategic discovery, standards development, and hands-on creation. The successful candidate will lead selected priorities from an ambiguous question through discovery, analysis, and a clear recommendation, helping shape the future direction of F&B across the Classics portfolio. They will then translate approved direction into practical standards, playbooks, decision tools, and guidance that hotels and regional teams can use.

This is a global, portfolio-level role rather than a field support position and does not focus on developing property-specific concepts. The person will create solutions that can scale across managed and franchised hotels while balancing guest impact, owner value, brand distinction, financial considerations, and operational practicality.

This position is designed for a strategist-builder: someone who can determine a path forward, engage and align the right stakeholders, and personally create the materials and plans needed to advance the work. Success will require someone who is adaptable, proactive, comfortable building new processes, and willing to roll up their sleeves to move priorities forward in a growing and evolving team. The role requires credible F&B and hotel-operating perspective, while also drawing on cross-functional experts when deeper technical expertise is needed. Strong candidates will be comfortable working through ambiguity, managing priorities end to end, and using AI-enabled ways of working to improve the speed, quality, and scalability of their output.

Priorities will evolve based on portfolio needs, but may include future F&B operating models, brand-level F&B frameworks, meetings and events experiences, standards and operator guidance, and emerging guest and hospitality trends.

Responsibilities include:

•Lead selected guest experience and F&B priorities from initial problem definition through discovery, analysis, recommendation, standards development, and operator-ready guidance.

•Structure ambiguous business questions, determine the appropriate workplan, identify required inputs, and recommend a path forward based on guest, owner, brand, financial, and operational considerations.

•Develop portfolio-level recommendations for guest experience and F&B operating models, standards, frameworks, and programs that can scale across managed and franchised hotels.

•Translate approved direction into practical standards, playbooks, decision tools, training materials, timelines, and guidance for regional teams and hotels.

•Determine when specialized expertise is required and engage the appropriate cross-functional partners, subject-matter experts, consultants, or vendors to advance the work.

•Lead cross-functional project teams, establish milestones and deliverables, resolve issues, and maintain accountability for assigned initiatives through completion.

•Evaluate existing standards, tools, and operating approaches; identify gaps and recommend changes that improve guest impact, owner value, brand distinction, usability, and operational practicality.

•Plan and support pilots or validation activities, define success measures, synthesize findings, and recommend whether and how solutions should be refined or scaled.

•Use AI-enabled tools and other technology to accelerate research, synthesis, drafting, visualization, and development of scalable materials, while ensuring accuracy and appropriate review.

•Present recommendations, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions needed to senior leaders and key stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into final direction and deliverables.

Qualifications
Experience Required:

•5+ years of experience in hospitality, guest experience, food and beverage, operations, strategy, or consulting.

Experience Preferred:

•Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through recommendation, standards development, and implementation planning in a complex, matrixed organization.

•Experience working with hotel operations, managed and/or franchised environments, global experience, or multi-unit hospitality businesses.

•Bachelor’s or advanced degree in hospitality, business, operations, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience

The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
