Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable, internationally minded Strategic Projects Associate based in New York City to work directly with the Chairman and support key global business initiatives.

This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. The role is designed for a high-potential young professional with strong exposure to both Chinese and North American business environments, who can support the Chairman in strategic projects, international business development, executive coordination and cross-border initiatives across TIENS Group’s diverse portfolio, including biotechnology, health management, hospitality and tourism, education, e-commerce and finance investment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and international teams, gain direct exposure to global business operations, and help translate strategic priorities into effective execution.

Tasks
Support the Chairman in coordinating and driving key strategic projects across TIENS Group’s global businesses.
Track project milestones, deliverables and action items to ensure timely execution and completion.
Coordinate internal and external resources to resolve issues and support effective project implementation.
Serve as a key communication bridge between the Chairman, international management teams, business partners and other stakeholders.
Prepare and coordinate executive-level communications, presentations, proposals and business materials in English and Chinese.
Facilitate effective cross-cultural communication across different countries, markets and time zones.
Conduct research and analysis on priority markets, industry trends, business opportunities, regulations and competitors.
Prepare executive briefings, management summaries and recommendations to support the Chairman’s decision-making.
Support preparation for key meetings, negotiations, strategic discussions and international business engagements.
Coordinate international meetings, business visits and overseas travel related to the Chairman’s strategic priorities.
Track meeting decisions and follow-up actions, working closely with Legal, Finance, HR, regional management and other relevant functions to ensure closure.
Undertake confidential assignments and special cross-functional or international projects as directed by the Chairman. Strategic Project Management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable university; Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
Ideally 1–3 years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, technology, international business; experience in biotechnology, health & wellness, e-commerce is a plus.
Strong exposure to the S. business environment, including familiarity with U.S. business practices, commercial law and e-commerce, is highly preferred.
Mandatory: native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with senior executives.

Mobility

Willing and able to undertake frequent international travel and work flexibly across different countries and time zones.
Must have valid authorization to work in the United States or Canada without employer sponsorship and be able to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
