DME Billing Supervisor

Description: A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced DME Billing Supervisor to oversee billing operations with a focus on wound care supplies, surgical dressings, and Medicare Part B claims.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support billing team members on DME billing best practices and compliance.
• Oversee Medicare Part B billing for surgical dressings and related DME products.
• Manage claim submissions, follow-ups, denial resolution, and documentation accuracy.
• Collaborate with SNF and ALF teams to obtain required documentation and eligibility verification.
• Monitor billing metrics and assist with audits, TPE reviews, and payer inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of DME billing experience with wound care/surgical dressings.
• Strong Medicare Part B DME billing knowledge, including HCPCS coding and coverage criteria.
• Supervisory or team lead experience in a healthcare billing environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare compliance, billing software, and documentation standards.
