About the Organization: Mem Global is where Jewish young adults in their 20s and early 30s come to connect, explore, and create meaningful Jewish experiences with their peers. As the umbrella brand for our global suite of programs, Mem Global supports young adults as they bring Judaism to life through thousands of peer-driven gatherings across 25+ countries each year. Position Overview: The Eastern Community Manager manages and enables our community builders to be leaders in creating meaningful, welcoming experiences for the young adult Jewish community in their city. A member of the Resident Support team, this individual supports residents in Houses and Pods by recruiting new community builders, tracking KPI metrics, connecting residents to resources, and developing a strong knowledge base about young adult life in their regional communities. Reports to the Director, House & Pod Programs, Operations and Strategy. Responsibilities: • Mentor and facilitate: guide Moishe House and Pod residents to create meaningful programs and strong communities through brainstorming, training, goal setting, and problem-solving (30%) • Network and recruit: develop individual relationships with residents through remote interactions, site visits, and skills development, and recruit residents for new and existing Houses and Pods (40%) • Organize and problem-solve: manage financial data and administrative tasks, evaluate and mitigate risk, and work on several projects simultaneously (20%) • Lead special projects based on departmental need and your expertise, such as facilitating sessions at conferences or retreats (10%) Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or four additional years of work experience • At least three years full-time post-undergraduate professional work experience • Skilled relationship builder and conversationalist with strong written, analytical, and organizational skills • Previous knowledge of Salesforce and Monday.com preferred (training provided) • Ability to be flexible with work hours, including nights and weekends as needed, and travel regularly • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship Salary: $59,000 - $73,000 for all available locations, based on education, experience, and regional location.
