Job description
As our Director, Head of Global Corporates Coverage (TMT, I and T, Consumer and Healthcare) you will:
Leading and overseeing teams responsible for executing the delivery of credit and lending servicing journeys within the US market, with a focus on our Global Corporate Banking business segment, ensuring alignment with regional processes and a seamless and efficient process for customers and ensuring compliance with US regulatory requirements
Monitor and analyze customer feedback within the market, identifying local areas of focus to improve customer outcomes while ensuring alignment with regional priorities
Collaborate with local and global stakeholders, including CCM, Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR), Legal, Sector Coverage teams, digital channels and products to implement the overall strategy for the wholesale credit and lending journey
Support and drive the implementation of governance frameworks to ensure risks and issues related to the Credit & Lending journey are escalated to regional, and global stakeholders and resolved in a satisfactory manner. Support the monitoring the management of financial and non-financial risks pertaining to the CCM production in partnership with local Non-Financial Risk (NFR)/Business Risk
Support the Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management framework within the market, maintaining service management oversight pertaining to both operational and control performance across all CCM Change the Bank (CTB) & Run the Bank (RTB) services end-to-end
Collaborate with internal teams across the entire credit journey including Component content management system (CCMS) Product, Design and Innovation Pillar, technology and transformation teams to execute the technology strategy for CCM, reduce legacy technologies, and drive a culture of innovation by developing cutting-edge automation, capability, and business solutions leveraging next-gen technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and analytics
Develop and maintain relationships with regulators, US credit review, internal and external auditors, and participate in audits and regulatory exams
Manage multiple senior stakeholders with varied and sometimes conflicting agendas, effectively navigating complex situations and driving alignment
Support and help drive the implementation of the BCO model in the US to be globally leading across the bank, leveraging organizational design capabilities to optimize processes and structures
Maintain a diverse, innovation-driven credit and lending workforce, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
Proven experience in credit and lending, with a strong background in managing loan portfolios. Experience with global corporates preferred, with a focus covering TMT, Industrials, Healthcare or Consumer sectors
Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with experience in organizational design and strategic planning
Extensive stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive alignment among senior leaders
Advanced financial acumen and credit assessment skills, including ability to apply expert judgement in transaction structuring and assessing borrower creditworthiness, with experience focused on global corporates
Broad knowledge of US regulatory frameworks impacting credit and lending
Expertise in credit risk management, control assessment, and Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) compliance
Experience in driving digitization and customer experience improvement initiatives
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consume large volumes of customer feedback and distil key areas of focus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and effectively discuss credit with clients, negotiate terms and build rapport with external and internal stakeholders
