Material Handler 2nd Shift

Job description

Responsible for packing the finished product in cases/ boxes after product has been determined to be in perfect conditions.
General housekeeping, maintaining a clean and orderly work area to be in compliance with GMP and SQF Food Safety standards.
Responsible for supplying products, jars, and caps to assigned production line.

Keep all work area in compliance with housekeeping guidelines and free of any object that might contaminate product.
Complete all required documentation.
Responsible for use of correct packaging material and printing of labels.

Has good communication skills with co-workers.
Responsible for adherence to the production schedule
Follow/Lead/Demonstrate Olam’s Safety and Quality principles
Perform other related duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Preferred food manufacturing environment
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred
Ability to work with positive attitude in a high stress environment
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Flexible availability to work Saturdays due to business needs

The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $17.65/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location
