B'nei Mitzvah/Hebrew Tutor

We are a Reform synagogue in Manhattan looking to hire in-person Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutors starting ASAP. Tutoring will take place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. The hours on Wednesday and Thursday are from 3pm-6:20pm and the hours on Friday are from 3pm-5pm. We have 2 categories of teachers: those who know Torah and Haftarah cantillation and those who only know to read Hebrew and prayers from the siddur (t'filot). Those who can chant Torah/Haftarah will be paid more, in accordance with their skills. While it is preferable to hire the same person for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, we will also consider those who are only available on one or two of those days.

Skills for year 1 tutors: $65/hr
