Location: Northern New Jersey
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person
Salary: $100,000/$125,000
About the Role
A growing multi-state property management organization is seeking an experienced, results-driven Head of Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting efforts across its expanding organization.
This is a hands-on recruiting leadership role for someone who genuinely enjoys sourcing, identifying, and attracting top talent. You will manage full-cycle recruiting across property management, maintenance, corporate, and leadership positions while partnering closely with hiring managers and supporting a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
The ideal candidate is a strong sourcer, relationship builder, and creative recruiter who knows how to find passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer and placement.
- Recruit for property management, maintenance, corporate, and leadership positions.
- Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, social media, industry associations, and other channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Conduct phone screens, interviews, and candidate evaluations.
- Develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and sourcing effectiveness.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes and the overall candidate experience.
- Mentor and support the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on sourcing.
- Proven ability to identify and recruit passive candidates.
- Experience successfully filling challenging and specialized positions.
- Experience recruiting across multiple locations and levels of an organization.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Property management, multifamily, real estate, hospitality, construction, or related industry experience is preferred.
