Job description

Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Field Manager to oversee cabinet installation projects from kickoff through punch list completion. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on job sites, holds high standards of quality, and delivers outstanding client service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage project lifecycle from kickoff to project schedules, delivery logistics, and subcontractor assignments through final punch list completion, coordinating with all on-site and in Office Teams.
  • Hire and oversee installers and subcontractors to represent Company standards on every site.
  • Conduct pre-installation site visits to field-verify measurements and build relationships with site supervisors.
  • Attend all deliveries and walk each apartment/unit during installation to verify quality and scope compliance.
  • Conduct minimum weekly site visits and attend weekly GC coordination meetings.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between clients, installers, and logistics teams to keep Projects on schedule.
  • Enforce installation standards and hold installers accountable for corrections, adjustments, and quality.
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues before they cause delays.
  • Monitor project budgets and flag cost overruns.
  • Identify scope changes in the field; coordinate with the Office to issue formal, fully signed Change Orders before authorizing related work.
  • Manage punch list items proactively and communicate all items to the Office for processing.
  • Proactively monitor reorder needs and notify the Office immediately with item details, quantities, and specifications.
  • Communicate with clients professionally — respectful, calm, and solutions-focused.
  • Submit Weekly Installation Reports covering project status, photo documentation, issues, and next steps. Maintain updated installation logs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Project management or field management experience in cabinet installation, millwork, or a related interior construction trade.
  • Demonstrated ability to read installation plans and conduct field measurements.
  • Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills; able to hold teams accountable without hesitation.
  • Excellent organizational skills — comfortable managing multiple active job sites simultaneously.
  • Clear, professional communicator with clients, GCs, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in basic reporting tools (email, spreadsheets, photo documentation).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
