About the Role

B&C Industries is looking for a motivated Salesperson to develop new business and manage the sales process for capital equipment solutions, including packaging machinery such as baggers, stretch wrappers, and related automation systems.

The ideal candidate is interested in machinery, enjoys learning how equipment works, and is comfortable working with customers. Previous machinery or capital equipment sales experience is not required—we are willing to train the right person.

This position includes both customer visits and time in our office managing sales activities, preparing proposals, and working with our internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals
• Visit customers to understand their needs and recommend equipment solutions
• Learn and develop knowledge of our machinery and packaging products
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through quoting, negotiation, and closing
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships

Qualifications

• Interest in machinery, equipment, automation, or how things work
• Strong communication skills, motivated to succeed, and eager to learn
• 1+ year of sales, customer service, business development, or other customer-facing experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with machinery, manufacturing, packaging, or related industries is a plus, but not required
