Job description

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner, Cash & Liquidity Management (CLM) to own DriveWealth’s money movement and settlements product area end-to-end — deposits, withdrawals, instant funding, settlement and the adjacent cash management capabilities that support them. This is a senior product role focused on domain ownership and execution. You’ll own the roadmap and personally drive delivery across multiple workstreams in parallel, partnering with fellow product owners to raise the standard of work shipped across the team.

This role sits at the forefront enabling our partners and their customers to invest. You’ll unify what is today a set of important but fragmented initiatives so partners get reliable, predictable money movement and settlement that scales as we expand globally into new asset classes and new markets. You’re expected to provide early signals on changing payments and regulatory frameworks rather than react after the fact.

You’ll work across partner-facing, engineering, and operations teams, and represent CLM in product reviews, partner conversations, and leadership discussions. Success is measured by partner adoption and production usage of your capabilities — not by ship dates or volume of documentation alone.

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

Excitement about growing your impact through scope and influence across Cash & Liquidity, rather than through team size
A track record of owning and shipping multiple workstreams in parallel over the last 2–3 years — not just setting vision and facilitating tradeoffs
Hands-on experience defining and delivering new products and capabilities, not just documenting requirements and user stories for others to figure out
An ownership mindset with the goal to take over an in-flight money movement and settlements roadmap from day one, without a lengthy ramp-up
What You’ll Do
Own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for money movement, settlements and adjacent cash management and tax capabilities
Personally execute across multiple in-flight workstreams in parallel — not just sequencing them from above, but shipping work yourself on the most strategically important ones
Rationalize how we expose money movement and settlement APIs and internal systems in support of our partner’s differing operating models, geographies and funding flows
Drive build-vs-buy, partner-vs-direct, prioritize tradeoffs, and re-sequence the roadmap under real constraints (regulatory deadlines, partner needs, engineering capacity)
Partner deeply with engineering, partner management, operations, treasury, and other domains to prioritize initiatives to balance regulatory risk, operational load, revenue impact, and time-to-market
Lead discovery with partners and prospects — understand blocking requirements, translate needs into sequenced roadmaps, push back on requests that don’t fit the platform, and communicate honest timelines and scope
Support global expansion of money movement capabilities as DriveWealth grows its partner footprint, including regional payment rails and jurisdiction-specific rules
Define and monitor adoption across the area — settlement success rate, time-to-funding, ACH return rate, instant-funding utilization, partner-reported blockers — and be willing to rework or sunset features that don’t drive adoption or business growth
Raise the standard of work shipped across Cash & Liquidity: mentor peer product owners, set the quality bar, and unblock adjacent teams
You Bring

7+ years of experience in product management, engineering, consulting, or founding a startup, with ownership in payments, settlement, treasury, or brokerage clearing infrastructure
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of multi-faceted initiatives and delivering to production at scale.
A track record of setting and executing an area-level roadmap across multiple in-flight workstreams in parallel, not just shipping a single product
Proven ability to operate as a senior product owner who raises the standard around them — mentoring peers, setting the quality bar, and representing the area in cross-functional and leadership forums without holding a manager title
Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to run partner-facing conversations, regulator-adjacent forums, and internal leadership updates
Experience analyzing data using SQL and relevant BI tools
Experience using AI tools to accelerate product discovery, definition, and development
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent experience
FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) completion, or a commitment to acquire within the first year (with support from your Manager)
Special Knowledge (Nice to Have, But Not Required)
Experience standing up money movement or settlement programs from scratch, not just iterating on inherited ones
Familiarity with the B2B2C correspondent / broker-as-a-service model, where partners are the primary customers and end retail customers sit upstream
Deep understanding of U.S. payments and clearing regulatory frameworks, exposure to global payment rails outside the U.S.
Experience unifying fragmented money movement or settlement stacks behind consistent APIs and data models
Background in broker-dealer treasury or clearing operations (reconciliation, exception handling, regulatory reporting) and identifying automation opportunities
An AI-native product mindset — regular use of tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for PRD drafting, customer-call synthesis, data exploration, and prototyping
