Job description
Scheduling Coordinator
Brooklyn, NY
$65,000–$75,000
About the Role
A growing healthcare organization is looking for a sharp, highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to take ownership of client scheduling and follow-through.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is a natural problem-solver, extremely detail-oriented, and gets things done. You’ll be responsible for making sure clients are connected with the right therapists and services, schedules are in place, and every client is receiving the care they need. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, stays on top of multiple moving pieces, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate is someone who is:
- Detail-oriented and notices when something is missing or hasn’t been followed up on
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple clients, schedules, and priorities
- A natural problem solver who knows how to figure things out independently
- Proactive and takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Strong in follow-through and makes sure tasks are completed from beginning to end
- Smart and resourceful, with the ability to identify issues and find solutions
- A strong communicator who can work professionally with clients, therapists, and internal teams
- Dependable and hardworking, with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where there are many moving pieces
Experience
Previous scheduling or coordination experience is strongly preferred.
Healthcare experience is a strong plus, particularly experience involving patient/client scheduling, healthcare coordination, or working with therapists or other healthcare providers.
Candidates from other industries will also be considered if they have strong organizational skills, excellent follow-through, and a proven ability to manage details and solve problems independently.
This is a full-time in-office role.
