Senior Business Systems Consultant

As a senior business systems consultant, you will be part of the Product Teams supporting Corporate Finance of Insurance systems that are critical to organic growth initiatives and integrating Mergers & Acquisitions. You will be responsible for handling both project and sustainment efforts. In this role, your efforts will help deliver the integration and migration of source or supporting systems into Corporate Financial Systems and processes in the Loss Reserving and Financial Reporting space (Premiums and Loss Data). You will partner with our Corporate Finance business and IT partners to support our growing corporate systems portfolio. As a liaison between the business, IT, and vendors, you'll ensure our systems are providing the services and technology needed.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training.

Must-have qualifications

High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 5 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements) or P&C experience in sales, service or claims.

Preferred skills

Experience implementing or supporting system interfaces, user functionality, and various system environments, including in-house and Software as a Service (SaaS) application.
Strong ability to digest detailed information and apply critical thinking skills to business requirements, specifically in the Finance and Accounting areas.
Proficient in generating options and facilitating decisions across business and IT partners, while outlining business processes and system solutions.
Experience gathering business and technical requirements, coordinating testing, and ensuring all deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget.
Experience on Product Teams and the SCRUM methodology.
Insurance industry experience.
