Job description
As a Care Team Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the people we support receive high-quality care while maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive home environment. What You'll Do
Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff.
Oversee the daily operations of the assigned home.
Ensure individuals receive care and support consistent with their individual needs and plans.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff retention.
Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Monitor compliance with company policies, state regulations, and applicable care standards.
Support medication administration and health/safety procedures as required.
Respond appropriately to behavioral or operational concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
Build positive relationships with individuals supported, families, staff, and community partners.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
Serve as a hands-on leader who is willing to step in and support the team when needed.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in IDD, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or residential services preferred.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional and operational leadership.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 residential environment.
Reliable transportation and ability to meet position-specific driving requirements, if applicable.
Must meet all company and state requirements for the position.
