Key Responsibilities
Dispatch buses, monitor route performance, and communicate real-time updates to drivers.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, tracking attendance, vehicle status, and route adjustments.
Support a “Safety First” culture—broadcast daily messages and collaborate with safety personnel.
Assign drivers and monitors to routes and assist with the route bid process.
Coordinate with the shop team on preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.
Manage phone inquiries and provide timely follow-up to customer and driver requests.
Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (commercial vehicle license preferred)
2+ years of relevant experience (dispatch, terminal operations, or driving)
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Proficiency with computers and radio dispatch systems
Ability to multitask and work under time constraints
