Senior Tax Accountant – Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Growing accounting firm in Williamsburg is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant with 3+ years of public accounting experience to join its team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
• Manage multiple tax engagements and deadlines
• Review tax work prepared by junior staff
• Assist with tax planning, projections, and tax research
• Communicate directly with clients and address tax-related questions
• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax developments

Requirements

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and professional tax software
• CPA preferred, but not required
