Auto Technician

What You'll Do as an Auto Technician:
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Perform preventative maintenance services on fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
Conduct thorough inspections to verify vehicle safety and operational readiness.
Repair and replace vehicle systems and components, including brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and other critical parts.
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
Maintain detailed service records, repair documentation, and maintenance logs.
Help reduce vehicle downtime through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

Fleet Support & Operations
Collaborate with fellow technicians and maintenance leadership to meet fleet service goals and repair schedules.
Prioritize repairs based on operational needs and vehicle availability.
Assist with routine fleet inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
Identify recurring maintenance concerns and recommend solutions to improve fleet performance and longevity.
Support overall fleet readiness by ensuring vehicles meet safety and service standards.

Workplace Safety & Compliance
Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Properly use tools, equipment, and repair procedures to ensure workplace safety.
Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable maintenance and inspection requirements.

What We're Looking for as an Auto Technician:
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as an Auto Technician, Automotive Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair processes, and preventative maintenance practices.
Ability to identify mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective repair solutions.
Experience working on fleet vehicles is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Dependable, safety-focused, and self-motivated.
Valid driver's license required.
ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
