Equality Charter School provides a high level of academic rigor in a nurturing learning community that will prepare scholars to be career-ready in college. Our holistic programming focuses on career exploration, extensive athletics, art, health, and a host of special days, like career day and a borough-wide college fair.

We are currently seeking a Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support for students.

Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to assist in classroom instruction and learning
Great attention to detail
Ability to work closely with students
Excellent teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and patient at all times
Knowledge of classroom subjects
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Please note: This position is targeted for up to two months. Our hope is that the right candidate can continue the relationship with Equality Charter School through NYC DOE's paraprofessional program.
