Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers
Request, compare, and negotiate freight quotes and pricing for international imports
Plan and coordinate international shipments from multiple countries
Consolidate multiple shipments into single loads when possible to optimize cost and efficiency
Track shipments from origin to final destination and proactively address delays or issues
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to schedule pickups, shipping timelines, and documentation
Ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents
Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Communicate shipment status and timelines with internal teams
Resolve logistics issues, including delays, damages, or customs-related concerns
