Job description

Prepare pledge acknowledgments, donor acknowledgment letters, and other correspondence on behalf of the President and Chief Executive Officer or other designated individuals.
Generate and merge donor data to produce acknowledgment letters for contributions, tribute gifts, stock donations, employee contributions, and fundraising initiatives.
Prepare and process VIP donor acknowledgment letters and route correspondence electronically to the Vice President, Development Operations for review and approval.
Create customized donor correspondence for unique donor circumstances requiring individualized communication.
Send finalized acknowledgment letters electronically to the mailroom for printing and mailing.
Research, troubleshoot, and correct inaccurate donor information when correspondence is returned as undeliverable, ensuring donor records remain current and accurate.
Generate quarterly pledge reminder notices to donors with outstanding commitments.
Create annual tax statements to donors in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Assist with benefit and ticket reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate recording and allocation of donor benefits and event participation.
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal gift processing workflows
Collaborate with Development Operations, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to resolve donor data issues and improve acknowledgment and gift processing procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of donor information while adhering to organizational data governance and privacy practices.
Review, analyze, and merge duplicate constituent records to assist in maintaining a clean and accurate donor database.
Develop, enhance, and maintain documentation and procedures for the Gift Processing team to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
Serve as a backup gift processor when necessary to support team operations and maintain timely processing during fluctuations in staffing and workload.
Perform a variety of gift processing, donor services, and data management activities to support accurate recordkeeping, donor stewardship, and the efficient operation of fundraising and development initiatives.

Education, Training, and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
Intermediate job skills and knowledge
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and gift processing is required
Experience supporting end-to-end online gift processing workflows, including system integrations, data imports, and reconciliation processes.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $50,000 – $55,000 depending on relevant experience and location.
