Job description

A leading provider of environmental, waste management, and site services is seeking a motivated and outgoing Field Sales Representative to drive new business development throughout the New York market. This is a highly independent, client-facing role focused on generating new business through cold calling, in-person prospecting, relationship building, and networking. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, and turning prospects into long-term customers. Responsibilities:
Generate new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
Identify and prospect commercial businesses within assigned territories throughout New York
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers
Present company services and educate clients on available solutions
Prepare proposals and negotiate service agreements
Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline using the company’s CRM
Follow up consistently with leads and prospects
Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue goals
Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
Represent the company professionally at all times while in the field
Requirements:
Previous outside sales, business development, or field sales experience preferred
Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting new business
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
Willingness to travel throughout New York on a daily basis
