Position Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on SOP & Process Specialist to support and optimize our woodworking and CNC operations. This role is responsible for improving processes, programming and maintaining CNC machinery, and ensuring consistent, high-quality production. The position combines technical expertise, equipment ownership, and operator training to drive efficiency across the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze product specifications and define efficient production processes

• Design and program using Cabinet Vision

• Set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines • Maintain and update software libraries, materials, and hardware settings

• Troubleshoot machine and software issues to minimize downtime

• Monitor production quality and make real-time adjustments as needed

• Support engineering, drafting, and production teams with technical expertise

Equipment Ownership:

• Take ownership of key machines including panel saws, edge banders, Cyflex, Koch, and related equipment

• Ensure machines are running efficiently and consistently

• Support preventive maintenance efforts and continuous improvement

• Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace standards

Training & Development:

• Train operators on machine operation and best practices

• Standardize processes across machines and workflows

• Share knowledge and troubleshooting techniques with the team

Role Focus:

Qualifications:

Strong woodworking and CNC experience

• Proficiency in Cabinet Vision

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and training ability
