Patient Ambassador

Description
This is a part-time contract role. It is perfect for people who care about helping others in recovery and want to be part of their community.

Key Responsibilities

Talk to patients at treatment centers about DynamiCare’s services
Build trust with people in recovery by being respectful and kind
Explain the benefits of our program and answer simple questions
Help patients connect with our Admissions Team, usually by phone
Work well with clinic staff to keep a professional environment
Track your work hours accurately by checking in and out at each location

Qualifications

Good communication and people skills
Professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude
Ability to connect with many different types of people
Reliable, self-motivated, and good at managing your time
Previous experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or peer support is a plus

Preferred:

Personal experience in addiction recovery
Existing connections within local recovery groups, clinics, or sober living homes in New Jersey.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen and allowed to work in the U.S.
Must pass a background check and security screening
Must be able to work in person at clinic locations
Must have a car to drive to clinics, rehab centres, and other healthcare locations.
Must live within 25 miles of Newark, New Jersey.

Part-time contract job
Flexible hours
Maximum of 20 hours per week
