Description
The Power Markets Analyst supports the management of community solar, renewable energy credit (REC), and incentive program activities across the company's project portfolio. This entry-level role is responsible for coordinating project registrations, maintaining compliance documentation, tracking program requirements and deadlines, and supporting reporting obligations throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Analyst plays a key role in ensuring projects are positioned to maximize solar program incentives and revenue. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and interested in building a career in the renewable energy industry.

Job Description:

· Develop working knowledge of community solar programs, renewable energy credits (RECs), and solar incentive programs to support Power Markets team activities.

· Prepare, submit, and track applications for state solar incentive programs, community solar programs, and related registrations.

· Maintain project documentation and ensure records are accurate, complete, and organized.

· Assist with onboarding new projects, including gathering project information, preparing required documentation, and coordinating registrations with state, utility, and program administrators.

· Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and compliance updates as required by program rules.

· Coordinate with internal teams, including Development, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Asset Management, to collect information and meet program deadlines.

· Communicate with utilities, state program administrators, vendors, and other external stakeholders regarding project status, registrations, and reporting requirements.

· Track project milestones, application statuses, subscription levels, incentive payments, and other key program metrics.

· Assist in registering projects for Renewable Energy Credit (REC) certifications and support REC reporting and tracking activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Sustainability, Public Policy, Communications, Finance, or a related field.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and experience managing competing priorities.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a growing business.

· Interest in renewable energy and energy markets.
