Job Overview:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all mechanical, physical building, and housekeeping upkeep in two warehouses. They will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Maintenance Manager will lead by taking a hands-on approach to identify issues and drive solutions. This role will ensure the development of all levels of team members with the goal of building an internal pipeline of talent supporting succession planning across B&H facilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain the function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing and executing preventive maintenance programs; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
Respond to, and remedy mechanical and physical plant failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action plans.
Leverage the facilities’ CMMS to resolve work tickets and monitor performance.
Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and equipment.
Manage the housekeeping team, ensuring daily, weekly, monthly responsibilities are completed in assigned areas.
Working through Central Purchasing for procurement, order equipment, parts, and supplies providing business justifications for the expenses.
Interview, hire, train, and develop all levels of team members with a strong focus on building a pipeline of talent that can be promoted throughout B&H facilities.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
Be the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, external vendors, landlord representatives,

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of complex mechanical, electrical, automation and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex systems to identify solutions.
Ability to balance competing priorities.
Past success in hiring and developing talent across all levels of associates.
Good understanding of safety concepts & procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
Highschool diploma
5+ years in a Maintenance leadership role within an industrial or fulfillment center environment.
Previous experience of managing and developing a team.
Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:
Performing physical activities that require standing, walking, lifting, bending, and other physical abilities.
Lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to be after-hour contact for emergencies.
Use of hand and power tools.
