Paint Technician I

Key Responsibilities:

Provide painting services of vacated apartments, occupied apartments, exterior walls, pool areas (touch-ups), exterior doors, and model apartments.
Receive a plan of action to complete assigned tasks, including job locations and readying equipment.
Identify and use of all required painting supplies, equipment, and PPE gear for the job.
Work safely, following guidelines, utilizing proper protective equipment, and complying with OSHA regulations.
Identify and reports all unsafe acts and/or equipment to Painting Foreman
Completes final punch list in accordance with company policy, obtains required approval, and reports on proper completion of job.
Requirements

Requirements

One year of experience as a Painter is preferred.
High school diploma, GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Organizational and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to prioritize and execute assigned tasks.
Ability to interact with residents, team members, vendors, and other business contacts, respond courteously to questions and requests, and stay calm when addressing and resolving any problems.
Multifamily housing experience is preferred, but not necessary.
A valid driver's license for the purpose of operating a community vehicle and/or golf cart.
