Responsibilities

Administer and execute a broad range of Human Capital programs and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation administration, employee relations, learning and development, and total rewards
Execute critical annual Human Capital events and programs, including goal setting, performance review cycles, compensation planning, promotions, talent reviews, workforce planning activities, and engagement initiatives to ensure timely and consistent delivery across assigned client groups
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support compensation analyses, candidate offers, and candidate inquiries throughout the recruitment process
Build and maintain relationships with external talent networks and represent MNP at recruiting, networking, and community events
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to leaders and team members on Human Capital policies, procedures, employment legislation, performance management, employee relations matters, and total rewards programs
Support leaders in managing team member performance, career development, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes by providing advice and facilitating Human Capital processes
Coordinate and plan annual compensation and salary review activities such as compensation recommendations, and related required reporting
Prepare and deliver presentations, workshops, training sessions, and information sessions to leaders and team members
Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, terminations, leave administration, accommodations, return-to-work planning, stay interviews, and exit interviews
Respond to Human Capital inquiries from leaders and team members, providing timely guidance and escalating issues where appropriate
Support employee relations matters by gathering information, maintaining documentation, facilitating discussions, and assisting with issue resolution in accordance with company policies and employment legislation
Prepare, analyze, and interpret workforce data and reports to identify trends related to turnover, absenteeism, engagement, retention, and productivity
Liaise with payroll, benefits, disability management, and other internal stakeholders to support team member needs and resolve Human Capital-related matters
Maintain accurate Human Capital records, documentation, and reporting while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Coach, mentor, and support Human Capital team members by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance discussions, and supporting professional development
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Completion of, or progress toward, a CPHR designation
Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years of people management experience
Strong working knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation administration, learning and development, and employment legislation
Experience supporting multi-disciplinary client groups in a fast-paced, professional services environment is considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively execute competing deadlines throughout recurring annual Human Capital cycles
Strong relationship-building, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Proven ability to provide practical, solutions-focused guidance to leaders and team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting workforce metrics and trends
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient with HR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented environment
