Job description
Duties
Advises Project and Program Managers and other District elements on the project life cycle as outlined in ER 5-1-11 and further outlined by applicable HQ USACE environmental program guidance.
Advises leadership on project schedules related to the related to the program mission, such as budget, contracting, and information management.
Utilizes state-of-the art software/computer programs in the development and long-term management of the project schedule, and coordinates with applicable subject matter experts to ensure appropriate integration of project and/or program requirements.
Coordinates with Project Delivery Teams, Program and Project Managers, and the Financial Teams to assure funds are available for established schedules.
Reviews and applies regulations and/or policies to assist the Project and Program Managers make schedule decisions related to project execution, and/or resolve workload management issues with middle and/or senior management.

This position requires travel up to approximately 5% of the time for training.
