Job description

Responsibilities
Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience
Develop course objectives, lesson plans, curriculum, syllabus
Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to the AIUM, SDMS and JRCDMS guidelines regarding sonography education
Instruct and evaluate students and report progress, utilizing Touro instructional tools (i.e., Canvas, etc.)
Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials
Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development

Qualifications
Education/ Experience

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent related experience.Master's Degree preferred.
Teaching experience
For sonography specific courses, RDMS certification required.
Knowledge /Skills/ Abilities

Familiarity in online learning platforms including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, & Adobe Connect.
A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion.
Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.
Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).

USD $4,200.00/Sem
Minimum Salary
USD $3,000.00/Sem
