Job description
The Milwaukee Jewish Federation (MJF) seeks a dynamic, relationship-driven NextGen Associate Director to play a key leadership role shaping the engagement, leadership, and philanthropic pipeline for Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Working in close partnership with the Director of NextGen, the Associate Director leads cohort-based engagement strategies, oversees NextGen communications and programming, and manages a growing donor pipeline. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain relationships with young adults across all ages and stages, serving as a connector within MJF and the broader Jewish community • Conduct one-on-one outreach to identify interests and guide pathways to involvement, leadership, and philanthropy • Design and implement learning and leadership development curriculums and facilitate cohort-based experiences • Plan and execute NextGen programs, identifying opportunities to expand engagement and impact • Manage and grow a portfolio of NextGen donors and prospects; lead prospect identification, tracking, and stewardship • Oversee NextGen communications including social media, newsletters, and digital engagement • Manage event data tracking, CRM entry, and reporting Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum 3+ years in engagement, community building, nonprofit development, or a related field • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including young adults and lay leaders • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities • Preferred: engagement or leadership program development, volunteer management, CRM familiarity, donor pipeline experience **Hours:** Minimum 38 hours/week. Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–3pm. Majority in-person with a remote option 1–2 days per week; occasional evening and weekend hours.
